We are currently looking for a Recruitment Manager to ensure that MTR Elizabeth line and MTR UK is resourced effectively with quality talent both now and in the future. As the Recruitment Manager you will lead the development of all MTR Elizabeth line people in line with the operational needs of the business and act as a resourcing ‘centre of excellence’, providing the recruitment tools and process for HR Business Partner teams, advice and guidance to enable effective recruitment.

Main responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Work with Directors and HR Business Partners to produce workforce plans ensuring both operational needs are met and budgeted headcount is within target establishment.
  • Take ownership and play an active role in the on-going management of Headcount and vacancies.
  • Support the delivery of a diverse workforce through the development and implementation of effective and comprehensive short and long term talent/resourcing plans in line with the MTR Elizabeth line business priorities and the Concession Agreement with TfL.
  • Manage and enhance MTR Elizabeth line’s resourcing process for all recruitment processes.
  • Make recommendations and drive best practice amongst team regarding candidate & hiring manager experience. Advising recruiting managers on employment matters during the recruitment and selection cycle, with particular reference to Equality and Inclusion
  • Act as an advisor on trends within the industry
  • Continuously review recruitment and on boarding processes and look for opportunities to improve, ensuring MTR offers the best candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Create and manager talent pools for high volume roles.
  • Manage search and direct sourcing processes and campaigns, delivering an exceptional candidate experience to headhunted candidates.

To be considered you will need to have/be:

  • BPS Test User Occupational Ability
  • Register of Qualifications in Test Use (RQTU) Membership
  • Experience developing and managing relationships with a variety of stakeholders such as hiring managers, HR colleagues, recruitment agencies and suppliers.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing direct sourcing strategies
  • Ability to deliver high quality candidates for multiple/volume recruitment campaigns
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional candidate experience
  • Experience using ATS and CRM systems e.g. eArcu
  • Experience of leading an internal head hunting service
