We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead and direct the MTR Elizabeth line control team to ensure MTR Elizabeth line delivers the highest levels of operational performance for both today’s customers and for those using the brand new railway as we scale up for the full opening of the Elizabeth Line.
You will work closely with industry partners including TfL, Network Rail and Other Train/Freight Operators to minimise the impact of any disruption to both the timetable & passenger journeys and other customer operations.
During incidents with significant business operational impact you will assume the role of Gold Command and contribute to the development and maintenance of up to date operational and safety policies and procedures, relating to train service delivery, control of operations and control personnel.
The Head of Control will be responsible for creating an engaged and motivated working environment and act as a role model to develop and maintain a culture that supports and encourages the team. Working alongside Rail for London and Crossrail you will help to finish and deliver the new control room and ensure that our people are competent on all equipment as such experience of project delivery is essential for this role.
You will have a comprehensive understanding of the industry and be able draw on your skills to help MTR deliver world class performance results, in a complex and fast changing environment.
You will also be successful in building strong relationships internally and externally and you’ll have prior experience of managing a team of individuals and influencing across organisations.
