This list of frequently asked questions is a good place to start.

The best way to apply for any of our vacancies is through our Career’s section of the MTR Elizabeth Line website. This is where we list all of our vacancies as soon as they are required by the business.

In order to have the best chance to be successful please make sure that you fully complete the application form being as concise and as precise as you can in all of your education and professional achievements. This will enable us to evaluate your skills and experience against the role fully.

All of our adverts have a closing date included within the posting. Once the advert has closed and our recruitment team has had the opportunity to review all the applications, including the approval of the hiring manager, we will then invite all of the short-listed candidates in for interview. All of the unsuccessful candidates will also be informed of the outcome at this stage.

We will acknowledge all of the applications that come through to us. Once we have completed the short-listing we will advise each of the applicants on their process, and whether they have been successful at obtaining an interview. At the end of the process we will inform all the candidates on the outcome of their application to us.

Yes, as long as you have the rights to freely work and live in the UK with no restrictions. We currently offer employment to all UK, EU, and other eligible passport / visa holders.

Once you have been selected for interview you will be fully informed of the interview and assessment requirements for the position you are applying for. Some of our interviews can be completed in one stage, and some require further stages and further testing.
